DUAL GAUGE SKIMMED BREAKER FABRIC

ABL Dual Gauge Skimmed Breaker Fabric is a Leno Weave, RFL-treated fabric designed for hot vulcanized belt splicing reinforcement. It is skimmed with two different rubber gauges (0.024” Blue / 0.056” Red) for enhanced flexibility and adhesion, with an overall gauge of 0.09”. This material is specifically engineered for step splicing of fabric rubber belts.

Application Instructions:

  1. Surface Preparation:
  • Lightly clean and soften the splice surface using a surface prep solution.
  • Apply 1-2 coats of C-95 cement to the rubber surface.
  1. Positioning & Rolling:
  • Carefully roll the splice material into place after positioning it correctly.
  • Remove any remaining plastic film from the outer surface of the material.
  1. Final Adjustments:
  • Stitch any areas requiring additional compression, ensuring that all trapped air pockets are eliminated.
  1. Safety & Compliance:
  • Always refer to the appropriate splice manual for detailed instructions.
  • Follow all MSDS safety precautions to ensure proper handling and application
