SKIMMED MSHA BREAKER FABRIC

ABL MSHA Grade, Part 14 Certified Breaker Fabric is a Leno Weave, RFL-treated fabric skimmed with uncured rubber, specifically designed for hot vulcanized belt splicing reinforcement. It is ideal for use in step and finger splicing of MSHA rated fabric conveyor belts.

Application Instructions:

  1. Surface Preparation:
  • Lightly clean and soften the splice surface using a surface prep solution.
  • Apply 1-2 coats of C-95 cement to the rubber surface.
  1. Positioning & Rolling:
  • Carefully roll the splice material into place after positioning it correctly.
  • Remove any remaining plastic film from the outer surface of the material.
  1. Final Adjustments:
  • Stitch any areas requiring additional compression, ensuring that all trapped air pockets are eliminated.
  1. Safety & Compliance:
  • Always refer to the appropriate splice manual for detailed instructions.
