SKIMMED BREAKER FABRIC

ABL Skimmed Breaker Fabric is a Leno Weave RFL treated fabric skimmed with uncured rubber for hot vulcanized belt splicing reinforcement. It is designed for use in step splicing and finger splicing of standard grade fabric belts.

Application Instructions:

  1. Surface Preparation:
  • Lightly clean and soften the splice surface using a surface prep solution.
  • Apply 1-2 coats of C-95 cement to the rubber surface.
  1. Positioning & Rolling:
  • Carefully roll the splice material into place after positioning it correctly.
  • Remove any remaining plastic film from the outer surface of the material.
  1. Final Adjustments:
  • Stitch any areas requiring additional compression, ensuring that all trapped air pockets are eliminated.
  1. Safety & Compliance:
  • Always refer to the appropriate splice manual for detailed instructions.
  • Follow all MSDS safety precautions to ensure proper handling and application.
